Favorite Stephen King novel (or short story) Movie adaptations

Not a fan of Stephen King, though The Long Walk was a decent book...  Might be a cool movie...

I've never read The Long Walk, or any of his books as Bachman.  Maybe I'll give it a go.

I just put The Bachman Books on my Amazon wish list where I keep books I'm considering; has The Long Walk, Running Man (haven't read but seen), and Roadwork (never heard of).
