Do you have kids?  I know you said something to the effect of calling someone poor because they had kids, so if you didn’t explicitly say that you didn’t, that statement certainly implies it.

Uh, I thought it was obvious.  If more and more people choose not to have kids, then the population will continually decline.

But it’s an incredibly stupid take.  There is no shortage of people in the country.  If the human race was actually in danger, then I’m sure these people would have kids.

Most scientists believe the earth's population limit is around 10B.  Until that clock starts unwinding by a large margin I'm more worried about over population not under, let alone extinction.  His take is ridiculous.

And yes, dual income with no dependents is awesome.   She makes good money with what amounts so just a couple hours each week in addition to my executive salary.

Ok fine.  How about we take away all incentives currently in place for having kids where the government is already involved.  No tax breaks.  More kids, more services used, pay more taxes.

Now I think about it that would go a long way solving my concerns without stating it so bluntly.

Ok that’s fine.  I’m not sure getting government benefits is really the reason people that receive them have kids though, so I’m not sure that will do much except increase crime.
