It's good because we've had a drought of good ideas around here recently.

Yep. Ever since the FBG's let loose the asylum the good ideas have gone to shlt. So true.

I think you have Michelle Malkin pegged incorrectly. So far as I can tell, Malkin just appreciates the history, culture, philosophical underpinnings, and values of the US while seeing through the constant white bashing and white shaming of the left. She appreciates and embraces the vision the founders had for the country. If there is any awful, hateful, or despicable things she's written I'm not aware of it.

I do think that she is fed up with the cultural left and has given up hope of ever reaching accords with them. I've heard her quote Rodney King "Can't we call just get along?" Now Rodney King is a flawed messenger, but especially after what he's been through, I find inspiration, wisdom and hope in that question rather than bitterness. Whereas I'd like to reach out a hand to Rodney to find a way to "Yes." Malkin does not, she has totally given up on the left and says "No."  I think that encapsulates my difference with her.

But she is frustrated with the mainstream right too. She fires plenty of salvos at mainstream conservative movement who she labels as "Conservative Inc." Included in "Conservative Inc" are a lot of right wing voices I appreciate such as Ben Shapiro, Ron DeSantis, Turning Points USA, etc.

As for my wife, she is always to my right on every position, except maybe abortion where we are both moderates. She's even embraced 2nd amendment issues even though she's never seen/used a gun in her life. She knows plenty of stories about how small 100 lb. Asian women (like her) seem to attract criminals in big leftoid cities as they wait in a subway station and she'd go Bernard Goetz on the fockers if it happens to her.

As I wrote, I really don’t care about Malkin’s politics, as much as I disagree with her. But the internment thing crosses a big line for me. It puts her beyond the pale.

Well, that does sound disturbing.

Filipinos, like Chinese, endured rough treatment at the hands of the Japanese during WWII occupation, so there's a case for resentment bitterness. But that'd be misdirected at the Japanese-American US population who endured that treatment by the US government in the '40s as they were civilians and not involved in that.

Fear of potential internment camps is part of the reason my family relocated to the US. Russia hasn't set any up for foreign citizens as they go to war with NATO, but who knows if China would follow suit if they ever do. When dealing with foreign nationals, is Xi more likely to act like Putin on 2022 or FDR in 1941? We might have rolled the dice to risk it if they hadn't destroyed our school the year prior.

Has she ever defended convicted pedophiles?  Now THAT would be crossing a line.

Does she hate gays as much as you?  Is it a religious thing or just regular hatred of being different?

Loaded words. We're just fed up with their bullying and intimidation tactics that we've read about online, not that we've ever experienced.

In person, we would treated them -sincerely- with courtesy and civility if we meet any. If we felt our goodwill were being returned, there'd be no issues. Things wouldn't go well if they tried to recruit my kids.

No. Because following 9/11 she wrote a book calling for the forced internment of all Muslim Americans and arguing that the internment of the Japanese Americans during World War II was a good thing. The book was called “In Defense of Internment” and it was a vile, bigoted piece of trash. She deserves to rot in hell.

Say hi to her then...

OK, so you've never had any bad experiences with gays, just stuff you've read on the internet.

And you would be nice to a gay in person, it's just behind their back you would call them indecent and amoral.

Of course any person, gay or straight, that tried to change the sexuality of my kid, would be a problem for any of us.

The end result of these racist educational programs is this type of behavior.

Black on white violence is so lopsided at this point.  It’s not even close.

My youngest is a 9 y/o girl.

I would serve a lifetime in prison over how I handled this.

Especially when you compare these incidents against demographic/population stats.
