Punishment for sin.  Romans 6:23. For the wages of sin is death.  1 Corinthians 5:10. All appear before Christ in the judgment seat. 

Must be perfect and guiltless.  Revelation 21:27. Nothing impure will ever enter 

Cannot cleanse oneself from sin.  No one will be declared righteous Romans 3:20.  

Saved by faith, and not works. Ephesians 2:8-9.  

Justified by faith, not works. Galatians 2:16.  

All our righteousness are as filthy rags.  Isaiah 64:6. 

Christ died for our sins, so we don’t have to go to Hell. Romans 5:8. John 3:16.  

Salvation is a free gift, thank you Jesus.  Romans 10:13, Romans 6:23, Revelation 22:17, Romans 10:9.  

One who believes has eternal life. John 6:47.  

You can know if you have eternal life.  1 John 5:13. To you who believe in the name of the Son of God do that you may know that you have eternal life.  

What to do now.  Trust in God and take him at His Word, if you believe that Jesus was God’s Son who died for us, that He was buried and rose again , and trust Him as our substitute as Lord and Savior then you are saved.  

Father, thank you for loving me, and I thank you for salvation, I believe that Jesus is your son, that He died for my sins, that He was buried and rose again. 

I put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

Being a catholic is not being a Christian,  you need to see what the Bible says about sin. Matthew 4:17. Repent of your sins, that means turn away from, can’t go to heaven if one living, or dies in sin.  Twice in the Bible Jesus said , go and Sin no more, that means not living in sin, or dying in sin.  

Romans 8:5.  But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
