 apparently, I'm running point on something called a silent disco.

 

I don't know why.

 

I'm picturing in the next 90 minutes or so it's going to look like a scene from Awakenings where just random people are making random movements and you can't hear any music.

 

Seems quite popular. And since I'm the only one who is TIPS certified, apparently I'm working door at a place I don't even work at.

 

Silly them. I'm blind as a bat. You could show me your Blockbuster card and I'm going to let you in.

Oh good lord. I was at the same bar right now that I was when the silent Disco happened. Just one of my business. Taking a lot of pain medicine and well...alcohol.

 

Then all the bartenders and regulars from The bar next door showed up.

 

Then they buried me in alcohol. Don't get me wrong. It was nice that they seem to miss me. But good lord. Even bought my existing tab.

 

12 shots and 4 beers and one crazy cocktail later? (And a whole lot of pillz). 

Geez. 

 

Trust me guys. I'm not that nice of a guy. But somehow in a bar? I'm everybody's bestie.

 

F*** it. It's sunday? Each of those f****** easily clocked out with 3-400 in cash tips.
