Well at the time I’m writing this it seems extremely likely that if Biden loses, that means Donald Trump will return to the Presidency. And for many reasons which I have previously explained, I believe that would be an unmitigated disaster for the USA, which I love.

1. cutting off aid for Ukraine. 
2. cutting off all federal spending on fighting climate change. 
3. An unnecessary and awful economic confrontation with China. 
4. withdrawal from NATO

5. clampdown on transgenders and gays 

6. clampdown on abortion 

7. clampdown on illegal immigrants. 
 

And yes I get that many or all of the things listed here are favored by many of the people who post in this forum. But I don’t favor them.

I blame Trump for instituting policies which I strongly disapprove of- though they affected people I know personally, that’s not relevant. But I also blame Biden for not reversing these policies. In that respect, and a few others, he’s been awful IMO. In other and most respects, I approve of his Presidency.

That being said there are certain aspects of it that were controversial then and now, and a discussion as to whether they were beneficial is worth having. I agree that the increase over time of black families without a father is a deep concern.
