Is the movie about Melania the first one about a President or First Lady to come out during the Presidency?

Murder rate dropped 20% in 2025.  Amazing, what can be done when we hire a new sheriff.

MAGA!!!

According to who?  When I stated that the murder rate dropped 12% in 2023 and 15% in 2024, I was told the data was false.

Nah.  Murder stats are hard to fake. But blue cities always cheat the rest. Stay in your lane. Talk about your make believe dinners.

O rly? The past 2 years when I told you that murder rates were dropping, you told me the data was wrong.  But I'd love for you to explain to me why the data is correct now.

They also have a thread about the DC police chief supposedly lying about crime reduction. Those stats are included in this report. Absolute clowns.

That being said, crime has been coming down quite a bit in the last 3 years, 2025 included, I am glad to see it!

Not about murders. I know better. They tend to get noticed. You can Fock with a few,  but not enough to make a dent ina crime ridden blue city. Stand down.

I’m not upset.  But what does improvement over a decade have to do with “Father Trump”?

Well Tim, the main reason cited for the improvement in the southern states is their approach to discipline. President Trump rescinded Obamas dear colleague letter that threatened schools with decreased funding if they suspended too many kids. Now you know. So STFU.

Southern states discovered the secret to great schools | New York Post https://share.google/XlE1VkpHJ3h5yDtIx

Much of this success has rightly been credited to a handful of commonsense reforms: early literacy laws that require the use of phonics, the tightening of retention and promotion policies, universal literacy screeners in early grades, and rigorous curricula.

But another factor may be these states’ strict disciplinary policies.

The article states the reasons why but the author puts his right wing theory out there.

It's good if we figure out why it's happening.  Another article:

Have Southern states outpaced the nation on the NAEP test? We dig into the data - Chalkbeat https://share.google/v38imYcoKEYjVi3Zp

While there has not exactly been a region-wide “Southern surge,” there have been some notable Southern success stories, especially in fourth grade. There appear to be lessons to learn from these states, particularly around a specific set of policies designed to help young children learn to read.

So yes, HT is full of sh1t just like he always is.

Yea, when he said “it was in today’s paper” we all knew he only reads one paper.  But was curious if he would share a link for the first time in his posting career, but obviously not since it would have shown him to be a liar.

In doing a brief search, it seems what many think is the biggest factor was something called the “Literacy Based Promotion Act” which was passed in 2013.
