The police use to arrest them but the prosecutor would just let them go. Now all the good cops with integrity and self respect quit. They've been replaced with much cheaper "peace officers" who dress up similar to real cops to provide a psychological effect of looking useful. Instead, what "peace officers" do is just stand around in their uniforms as crimes occur and take notes to file reports ... reports that never get investigated unless somebody is injured.

And that is what the Democrats support. Since there are too many black people in jail, they just let the criminals steal stuff.

Be aware that, since Ferguson, there has been a quiet targeting of normally sleepy prosecutor races, resulting in extremely well funded prosecutors in major blue cities across the country that refuse to prosecute property crimes like this. Prosecutor races are more important than ever now and I'd recommend checking the Dem primary where you live to see if there is a sane option.
