JK. I believe you. And it’s good practice. I’ve never given money to a candidate either. I DO give money to political causes: mostly to the ACLU amd Planned Parenthood, amd charities for undocumented immigrants. Once to BLM. I don’t regret a penny.

See this post demonstrates the major flaw in your thinking. You think I need the media to tell me how black people are treated by police in this country. I don’t. The media didn’t create the problem of our institutional racism. We did. You and I and our parents and grandparents are responsible. And we are the ones who need to fix it.

The reference to Roger Staubach comes up at the 42 minute mark.  Folks can listen for themselves if they wish. What I heard was a brag about applying, or conisdering applying to Annapolis, not the Air Force acadamy  Now were I Biden I would make no references to my education since it may remind folks of his plagarism scandal, but that is on him..

I did hear him, again, as seemingly in all speeches use the phrase "that's not hyperbole".  Seems to be his favorite phrase.  It is overused in my estimation.

He did relate an annecdote, meant to be amusing, about a member of the command staff at the academy.  He stated that person was unavailable for him to meet as he was doing loops and power rolls in a glidder. Anyone who has lived in or visited Colorado Springs is well aware of the Academy glidder training. My question for Bidden's speech writers is can a glidder do a power roll?  They can certainly perform a roll, but a power roll?  I thought those were done under power, though perhaps I misunderstand the term.

Biden says he didn't go to the Navy Academy in 1965 (or 1961 when he enrolled at Delaware) because there was already a Heisman trophy winner there, except Bellino graduated in 1960.

It's not even close to awesome.  It sucks.  For me, say what you want, he is our President and deserves respect.  I am not laughing that he fell down.  He's old.  If I saw any old man trip and fall I would feel bad for the guy(and worry about his hip) when you make it the leader of the free world it's sad and slightly embarrassing.

Biden says he went to Delaware instead because Navy already had Rodger Staubach.  Biden enrolled at Delaware in 1961.  Staubach enrolled at Navy in 1962.

All of his stories have some minor bit of fact in a sea of mendacity.  For instqance he had seen a football, heard of Staubach, and knew there was a naval academy.  Just like he once took a corn poop in a bathroom where there was a straight razor.
