But hey, many other simpleminded fools like you got suckered. You're not alone. As I have said, the media is powerful, and it is hard to resist. When you are as biased and kinda dim as you are, it's easy to get snookered. It'll be ok though. You think I need the media to tell me how black people are treated by police in this country. I don’t. The media didn’t create the problem of our institutional racism. We did. You and I and our parents and grandparents are responsible. And we are the ones who need to fix it.

If Biden mentioned it again yesterday I can’t find it. I doubt he did since it wouldn’t make any sense. You’re an idiot. https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=biden+addresses+air+force+accadamy+&l=1 Yesterday: Quote When I was graduating high school 300 years ago, I applied to the Naval Academy and I was picked by a senator. There’s two ways senators can pick, you can pick individually or they can name 10 people and let the academy choose And I was a relatively good football player, so I had a shot. And I remember the day that a guy named Steve Dunning from my class, was also nominated, drove up, it was about seven in the morning, we were gonna drive down to Annapolis, and I had just heard the night before they had a halfback named Joe Bellino who won the Heisman Trophy and a quarterback named Roger Staubach. I went to Delaware. Last Year: Quote I was appointed to the academy in 1965 by a senator who I was running against in 1972 — never planned it that way. I wasn’t old enough to be sworn in. I was only 29 years old when I was running. He was a fine man. His name is J. Caleb Boggs. I didn’t come to the academy because I wanted to be a football star. And you had a guy named Staubach and Bellino here. So I went to Delaware. 2010: Quote In 2010, Biden told a slightly different version of the story at the Naval Academy. At that time, Biden said he was “considered” by Boggs — rather than nominated, as he claimed in more recent tellings. He said that happened in 1960, which also is problematic because Boggs didn’t become a senator until 1961.

Engorgeous George 2,151 Posted June 2, 2023 So I viewed the speech here: WATCH: Biden delivers the United States Air Force Academy commencement address | PBS NewsHour The reference to Roger Staubach comes up at the 42 minute mark. Folks can listen for themselves if they wish. What I heard was a brag about applying, or conisdering applying to Annapolis, not the Air Force acadamy Now were I Biden I would make no references to my education since it may remind folks of his plagarism scandal, but that is on him.. I did hear him, again, as seemingly in all speeches use the phrase "that's not hyperbole". Seems to be his favorite phrase. It is overused in my estimation. He did relate an annecdote, meant to be amusing, about a member of the command staff at the academy. He stated that person was unavailable for him to meet as he was doing loops and power rolls in a glidder. Anyone who has lived in or visited Colorado Springs is well aware of the Academy glidder training. My question for Bidden's speech writers is can a glidder do a power roll? They can certainly perform a roll, but a power roll? I thought those were done under power, though perhaps I misunderstand the term.

RogerDodger 797 Posted June 2, 2023 Biden thinks he was good at football because his teammates called him "dash". They were making fun of his stuttering. Biden says he didn't go to the Navy Academy in 1965 (or 1961 when he enrolled at Delaware) because there was already a Heisman trophy winner there, except Bellino graduated in 1960.
