Sorry. Why would it make sense to move the trial to West Virginia?

Because the DC jury pool is 99% authoritarian leftists like the rest of you sh!tlibs who, are fully OK with violating the civil liberties of the opposition.

Burisma is pretty large large company. Is there any evidence at all that she knew Hunter Biden? And what does any of this have to do with Donald Trump? Is this some sort of 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon thing?

Burisma is a pretty large company huh?  How many employees exactly?

Add dumb to your resume in addition to being a report button mashing liar.

They both worked for Boies Schiller Flexner law firm.  After Hunter went to Burisma he facilitated Boies Schiller Flexner's relationship with Burisma.  She was a partner in Boies Schiller Flexner the entire time.

You may not see it as a political hunt, and I wont bother to debate it with you....but it is.....

I objected when this similar thing was done to Clinton, when they tried it with the Obama birth certificate, and I object to it being done to Trump....not because I give a rats assss about Trump but I care about the system. I care about the precedent being set, the misuse of the DOJ and the overall justice system as a political lever.

Right now you might not care, but what happens if the DOJ and courts somehow evolve to become more conservative, and they do this to people YOU support.   It would STILL be a problem, I would STILL object to it....because it was STILL be wrong.....

If democrats try to steal the election by bullying state officials and putting forward fake electors, convict them away!

But right now only Trump has tried to subvert the will of the american people.

He's a traitor actually.

So what?  Is hunter on trial?  Biden?  NOPE

Trump is the one who's caught 78 federal indictments.  The judge's work with some company peripherally connected to Biden's son is irrelevant.

I wonder if the judge in Florida has any connection to Trump?  Weird I don't see you cultist crying to get her removed...

Of course you're too busy scouring the web for more gay porn...SAD

If a Dem losing Prez does what Trump did please go after him or her. I would applaud it. But yeah we can agree to disagree. This is not the same universe as Obama Birther stuff.

In any case…why would moving the case to WV make sense?9

I am gratified that we have common ground here.  I think every traitor deserves to be held to full account, which I whu I have always supported the accountability being applied to Trump.  My issue remained that Biden not being held equally accountable.  So there is nothing new here for me.  I am disinclined to pretend that any of them should be excluded, unlike my ideological opponents.

I have already answered your question.

I am not interested in anything more than ensuring fairness, which up to this point I do not think has been in play.  And again, ten years from now who cares?  Well, if this weaponization is turned back on YOU and YOURS....you might care, and I would be right there next to you.

How would WV be “more fair”?

It would ensure the jury at the very least could be more impartial.   This element was so important that it was codified into the 6th amendment.

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

So what is then required?

In order to establish a prima facie violation of the fair-cross-section requirement, the defendant must show first that the group alleged to be excluded is a ‘distinctive’ group in the community and then second that the representation of this group in venires from which juries are selected is not fair and reasonable in relation to the number of such persons in the community and then finally that this underrepresentation is due to systematic exclusion of the group in the jury-selection process.

If a plaintiff demonstrates a prima facie violation, the defendant faces a pretty high burden, the jury selection process may be sustained under the Sixth Amendment only if those aspects of the process that result in the disproportionate exclusion of a distinctive group, such as exemption criteria, “manifestly and primarily” advance a “significant state interest."

So should Trump try for it, well yes, since its his right to do so.

Yeah, she was oblivious to what the Vice Presidents son was doing. She was only a partner.

Yup. Partner in the same law firm as Hunter working on the Burisma deal. Can you show me something similar so your claim of a “whataboutism” Will have some validity? Seems to be a very unique situation.

I was talking to a friend of mine down in Baltimore. I asked how were things? He said “my kids can’t read at grade level,  none of these kids can”. I said “yeah, but do they know how to use the proper pronouns?” He said “they can say them, but they can’t spell them”.

Perhaps.  Of course the location they presently want might be among the least favorable for him, so I get that as well.

If he has the right to pursue a different location, then he should do so.  I mean, we are seeking justice here.

That being said, I think he has a tough hill to climb to secure that outcome.

Sure he can ask for whatever but it’s still a joke. He could ask for a jury if his family members (Ivanka would probably say guilty 😂).

I do not see it that way. Later, if Biden does something similar I would also defend his right to it.  I really find this ideological bias to be unnerving.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday rejected Donald Trump's claim that he was the true winner of the 2020 presidential election in his most forceful comments to date on the matter.

"Whoever puts their hand on the Bible on Jan. 20 every four years is the winner," DeSantis told NBC News correspondent Dasha Burns in his first broadcast network interview since he launched his presidential campaign.

DeSantis continued to discuss all the ways he believed the previous presidential election was not perfect. But pressed further, he clearly stated that Trump lost.

"But respectfully, you did not clearly answer that question," Burns said. "And if you can’t give a 'yes' or 'no' on whether or not he lost —"

"No, of course he lost," DeSantis said, adding, "Joe Biden’s the president."
