All this occurred after he said he no longer had any of these documents. That kind of makes it easy to show he was obstructing the Feds, no?

What is there to investigate you flaming moron?   The documents were either there or not.   Extending investigations endlessly is how yvey cover up.   Nobody is getting charged but Trump.  Hillary's case was by far the worst and they decided against prosecution.  It is not about who is butt hurt, it is about government administering the law differently based on politics.

I am not sure any of this matters.  This was all information available from early on.  I submit this is less about the potential violation of the law so much as some personal vendetta from the judge and others involved.

I know very well that most of our members here beleive fervently that they should be able to decide what ever value they want for real estate and get it, regardless of the outcomes for others.  But in this instance, the government in criminalizing that activity.

Sure but this supports the idea that this was a politically motivated prosecution.  This case was bound to be appealed as soon as the judge ruled Trump guilty before he had even mounted a defense.  I'd be shocked if this case holds up on appeal.

I would just add, this has nothing to do with the law.  This has everything to do with limiting the ability of Trump to be a viable candidate.  Whether that be by silencing him, sequestering him to a court room or outright convicting him where ever possible to both denigrate him and perhaps eliminate his ability to be a candidate.

They know full well that this is overturned on appeal.  They also know that the only way this will be reported is that it happened.  This is pure political corruption right in our faces....without any restraint or even attempt to hide it.  This is a "fock you" to every citizen..... and a warning to candidates.....
