I don't know if it's official yet.  I'm an ASU Sun Devil, and word is that our president (Michael Crow) is going to think about it over the weekend.  He is known to be loyal to the PAC-12 and probably doesn't like the idea of looking like he is following U of A.

If ASU ends up without a conference, I don't care how good of a president Crow has been (and he has been a great one otherwise), he will be drawn and quartered.

Right, like I said UA is farther ahead.  Thing is, the same Board of Regents sits over both UA and ASU.  They won't want the two schools in different conferences, so they are pushing for both or neither.  The obvious choice is for both to go to the Big 12, but Crow is probably grandstanding a little to not look like he is just following UA.  I hope.  Like I said, if they end up with nothing, it will get ugly around here.

He does love the sniffing and the touching and the showering with and the pinching of nipples of both his own and other's little kids. But not the big 18 year olds. Way to old for him.

I hate all of it with a passion.  However college sports (mainly football) became so big and profitable it was a self fulfilling prophecy.  It will eat itself.  One cannot be an educational institution whilst also a semi-professional sports franchise.  It's trying to be half-pregnant.  10 years from now we will have a full reset on College Athletics as we know it today.
