Just put something's natural doesn't mean you want it in your food. Casing point, the red in red velvet cake? Used to come from grinding up a certain type of beetle they had a different name for it which I'm sure you can google. But technically, it was a natural ingredient. So is Ox Spooge. Gmo is an amazing technology that allows us to grow strains of food in climates that they would be otherwise unable to grow in. In addition they help increase food production. The problem is in the corporations that control our seed/pesticide supply. They encourage farmers to use more pesticide than what is required to help their own profits.

Not in the way that you're thinking. But what's been going on for decades now is that Monsanto will come up with some nifty new seed that is pesticide free and bugs don't eat it. But then, if even one seed blows over their property line and into the next field they sue the hell out of the farmer and basically bankrupt them.

So what are the cons of food genetically modified? The debits to the credits. Im not a subject matter expert on this subject, however I can see where the term “genetically modified” throws up caution flags to most.
