They had 27 conversations of over 30 minutes which to me indicates a sexual/flirting relationship but isn't proof. I have zero curiosity about Mel Tucker's personal and sex life and know way more than I ever wanted to. It'd be helpful to see if the flirting was mutual or one sided but both sides deleted texts.  She never hung up on the phone cal. She waited a long time to file the complaint until after he stopped inviting her to campus.

At the end of the day, even if her allegations are true, I'm not terribly upset that he had phone sex with her. Dude is in a loveless marriage and likes phone sex in his off time, it's not anybody's concern. If she thought he was a creep, just hang up the phone and cut off ties with him. People who have done much, much worse still have jobs out there.

I think Tucker is seriously overpaid and that going 5-7 with a program flush with that much donor cash is unacceptable. The school can't void his contract for mediocre results, but they can for embarrassing the school, which I guess he did technically do, even though it's completely overblown bullsh*t reason.

He might still get railroaded in this process, but he has also claimed that she sent him photos via text.  He didn't imply they were provocative, but no females are sending guys photos of themselves if they aren't in some sort of personal relationship.

Tucker allegedly assaulted her over the phone?  How preposterous.  Consensual phone sex being used to extort him and MSU.  They had phone sex, then he was finished with her and she got offended.

They only ever met three times in person and she accepted his gifts. Allegedly at one point he wanted to see her in her hotel and she shot him down.

Obviously the big sticking point is his contract.   Him having phone sex with her, in my opinion, does NOT violate his morality clause.  Not if they were in some sort of relationship and she egged him on.   He will lose the Title IX hearing, because it's designed for him to fail.  However he can still file suit to claim his buyout.   MSU is going to have to settle with him, of course depending on what is uncovered before the October reveal.   We probably don't know everything yet.

Both parties deleted their text messages, some still exist from Tracy's assistant which seem to indicate that she was after Tucker's money. She's also having an affair with married Damon Stoudamire (who's now coaching basketball at Georgia Tech).
