seafoam1 3,023 Posted October 21, 2023 2024 CX50 2024 CX30 2022 used (5000 miles) 2022 CX30 For a trade in of my 2013 Jeep Wrangler 2 door manual 6 speed, 157700 miles, they offered me $5800. I told them no. I'll keep my Jeep as a second car. Dude went and got a manager (aggressive as can be) and he tried to convince me to take the $5800 but I said, I'm not offended by the offer, but I love my car and just take it out of the deal and get me your best pricing on the cars you are selling. Dude said how much are you looking for on your Jeep. I said $9000 and he said, "Deal". I'm gonna buy the new CX30 turbo premium plus for just under $30k w/ my trade in. I realize now I wanted to be undersold on my trade in so I could justify keeping it as a second car for myself. But I just couldn't pass up $9000 as I really don't feel like selling it myself or just not taking the money and maintaining a second car. And another Mazda dealer yesterday offered me $5000 for it max so fock them. Can't wait to tell them to fock off with their offer.
