If America sucks so much, why do people beg to come here?

The one thing that MAGA types and extreme leftists have in common is they’re constantly willing to piss on the USA. 

The leftists say we’re all a bunch of imperialist, white power, minority hating, women enslaving, gun toting, climate killing, gay bashing evil capitalists. 

The MAGA types say this  country has been taken over by a horde of socialist, transsexual illegal aliens who want to make your daughter have an abortion, make your son have a sex change, and make both of them feel guilty for white privilege. 

You listen to either group and this country totally sucks, things couldn’t be worse. And yet people keep risking their lives to come here. We’re practically the only country on Earth that discusses building walls, not to keep people in, but to keep them out.

Back on topic, sorta:  what Tim can't see is that people will risk life and limb to come here for what we HAVE been, and what folks like MAGA want it to continue to be.  The Leftists hate America as it is and want to tear it down and build a new, different America.

Yes they piss on it all the time. They know nothing about what makes this country great. MAGA types are the most unpatriotic Americans there are. I don’t even regard most of them as truly American because America is at heart an idea. They don’t believe in our democratic republic, they love them some authoritarianism, they want to keep immigrants out- all of that is anti-American. As far as I’m concerned the MAGA folks have no right to be here. I’d be good with deporting them all.
