Do Any Any Of Yous Feel Like You Are Keeping It Together Like A Roll Of Scotch Tape And A Prayer

Recommended Posts

I feel like the band-aid Dad that says it’s ok, it’s going to be okay and fine. Then you give a kiss to make it all better and say “€Mommy job is to take it off!”. There there. Popsicles for all!

It seems like so many people I care about in my life now need a mother/father figure to put a band-aid on they should have figured out already. Don’t mind the wise sometimes, especially for the ones I love.

Getting older is way much more interesting than I ever imagined.

It would actually be pretty cool if it wasn’t for the getting fat and old part :(

I took care of the fat part, the old age and bags under my eyes wish I could do something about.

I have no clue what you’re trying to say.  Sorry.  I read your stuff and can usually suss it out but this band-aid metaphor has me lost.

I don’t speak Bunny very well, but I took it as: there are lots of adults in bunny’s life (spouse, adult kids, other relatives, friends) that are unable to figure things out for themselves in some way, and bunny feels that he has to cover that up for them by figuring out how to make it work, whereas you’d think the adult could simply figure out how to solve their own problems so bunny isn’t having to put a band aid on em all the time.

Maybe?

Praying to nothing just doesn’t help, pray to God, and turn your life over to Him.  Now that’s a winning move.

Unless those adults cannot help themselves, then you believe in killing them.  Shame on you.

My life. Drink. Sleep a few hours. Commute. Work. Commute home - drink. Endless circle.
