Nah. https://www.npr.org/2024/01/25/1225957874/housing-unaffordable-for-record-half-all-u-s-renters-study-finds Quote In fact, more such households and many others also now struggle to pay rent, according to a newly released report from the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University. It finds that in 2022, as rents spiked during the COVID-19 pandemic, a record half of U.S. renters paid more than 30% of their income for rent and utilities. Nearly half of those people were severely cost-burdened, paying more than 50% of their income. "We actually saw increases across every single income category that we look at, which sort of surprised us," says Whitney Airgood-Obrycki, a senior research associate with the center and the report's lead author. Since 2019, the biggest jump in unaffordability was for households making $30,000 to $74,999 a year. Even among those working full time, a third of all renters were still cost-burdened. What you mean is that when Trump was president, the cost of a barrel of oil was <$0 so refineries were taken off line demand was so poor due to Trump's mismanagement of the pandemic. And then when Biden brought the demand that Trump lost back, it took time for US production to get fully back on line. Plus you know Trump's buddy's war didn't help. But now, less than three years after taking office, Biden has erased the stench left from Trump and US energy production hit record highs in 2023. Simply remarkable. And boyo since I know you're a dishonest debater who will misrepresent and try to spin, here's the raw numbers that you can't refute. As a result of several U.S. refinery closures in 2020, U.S. operable atmospheric crude oil distillation capacity, the primary measure of refinery capacity in the United States, dropped 4.5% to a total of 18.1 million barrels per calendar day (b/cd) at the start of 2021. The end-of-year 2020 total is 0.8 million b/cd less than the 19.0 million b/cd of refining capacity at the start of 2020. According to the data in our annual Refinery Capacity Report, the beginning of 2021 marks the lowest annual capacity figure to start the year since 2015. https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=48636

YOU .....seem to be aware of something impacting a market......when Biden threatened that market.....do YOU think it helped prices....or hurt them. Just wondering before I get down this road, too many people have come in before and proven to know nothing....so I have to check Now you're trying to qualify it? Energy prices impact the price of all goods. The stuff on those ships that you claimed words will increase will be included in the main CPI print. CPI-U price changes faced by urban consumers. It's the main CPI print that's quoted each month.

Of course....NOW....Biden is saying, opps....my bad....when at the time he was told....this is not going to work, its going to hurt more than help....but when you are a Democrat, you just do...you do not think.... Weird, inflation was transitory and lasted about a year before Biden's policies brought it back down to normal levels. Or perhaps you're unaware of how long inflation lasted in the last 70's/early 80's? It's quite amazing to see one person be so wrong so often. But you are a cultist so that does explain a lot of it.
