Thoughts on these guys?  Popular on the socials these days.  They go around being d00shbags but within the law.  The bully cops don't know the law as well as them.

This is fine.   Some of these officers need to understand their limits and the rights of people.

But now try this with a federal agent.   There is no one you can sue or no one you can file a report with.    Local police are directly accountable to multiple levels of authority.  Feds are heavily protected by massive bureaucracies and legal protections.   Your only recourse is to have the President come to your aid.   Good luck with that.

I worked in as a LEO in an Arson task force for a while and dealt with some of these folks. I actually enjoyed conversing with them.The camera dude said all the right things, and didn’t really act like too much of an a-hole in this particular instance I don’t think.  There’s plenty of cops that try to instantly do a bully/intimidation act to see if they can get you to back down, like these clowns did. Like the dude said, they can ask what ever they want,  but you don’t have to answer.  They word the questions to make it sound like your obligated to comply.  I think he did fine, but still  a little crazy wanting to pick a fight just to get a response.
