Winter Time At The Gym

It’s the new year. They’ll be gone by March and hopefully keep subsidizing our memberships forever.

Coming from a fat ass sitting on his 1950s couch watching terrible basketball games.

Just like Christmas day for him. Lonely old man...

Yep and some don't even make it to March. Planet Fitness loves them cause the membership is cheap and they will keep it with hopes of going back.

Wow a lot of fat guys today trying to get in shape, lots of huffing and puffing going on.

I'm guessing because today is Feb 1, maybe some people are re-starting their resolutions to work out, after failing in their January attempt?  :dunno:

It’s the worst and the funniest. I usually go at about 9 AM which is peak stay at home mom drop off the kids go to the gym time and you see the most bat crazy new people. All decked out in their new gear they don’t know what they’re doing, worst form ever.

but it’s neat. They are trying. Talked to a guy today and he asked me for a little advice and I just told him man just keep showing up. Change your kitchen and just know that your mind is going to mess with you telling you to eat something bad for you…and just keep showing up to the gym.

Those Fockers spend more time wiping down the machine than they do using it.

Ever see some people out running? They are all slumped over with their heads hanging, making stupid  agonizing faces and pumping their arms when all they are in actuality doing is walking. Why don't they just focus on posture, and walk normal? It can do wonders.

It’s the craziest thing. Like when I’m really trying to cut weight and just eating salmon and pork chops and just lean stuff all of a sudden it just hits like nothing sounds better than a large sausage and pepperoni pizza. Like you just need it like you need air.

if I could give any little other piece of advice, it would be don’t tell anybody you’re going to lose weight. Don’t say you joined the gym and you’ve got this goal or that. Because you’re going to get that support and affirmation before you’ve done any real work. Just get after and surprise the shiit out of everybody.

Yea I didn't tell anyone when I did it about 2 years ago figured it would take around 3 months and I was right. So much easier now just staying in shape then have to get back in.

No doubt. I was rolling around at about 240 and got down to 200. Feel like my natural is closer to 210 but yeah now I just don’t wanna put it back on so people don’t go. Oh yeah, he lost all that weight and then put it back on. I shouldn’t care but need that little motivation I guess

Good Job Man! That's about what I lost and my metabolism is high now and don't have to worry much about staying in shape. I eat fairly healthy and some crap food too. Feels good also to be in my 50's and built better than 90 percent of 20 year olds.

Oh great job to you as well my man. That’s awesome. Yeah, that’s a nice feeling. When you work out, your metabolism is rolling and you can pound that pizza and it doesn’t hammer you like it would otherwise.
