Biden starts another war

Recommended Posts

I don't rightly know why we're still in there refereeing the denizens of a Turd World Sh*thole that have spent the last 1300 years wanting to kill each other. Maybe somebody else could explain. To someone that lives in that jihadi terrorist toilet and is still pissed off about how George W. Bush had him playing nekkid twister with his POW buddies, having a US base nearby must seem like a pinata - in need of even more smacking than his eight wives.

Seems to me being there accomplishes nothing worth doing. It risks lives, costs money, and invites trouble. And trouble came. Since we are there, we have to do something when our troops are attacked. We lost three people. So, Biden did something and now we'll see what happens next.

Maybe someday soon we can re-evaluate what it is we want to accomplish there and why its worth the trouble. It's really hard for these a$$holes to blow up Americans when there are no Americans around to blow up. If no Americans get blown up, there's no need to retaliate and engage in these silly games.

In the Red Sea, we are using million dollar missiles to shoot down thousand dollar drones that we paid for.

democrats love war but they don’t know how to fight them.

Can someone start up the thread that Biden is weak. Then we have all the bases covered 😂

Biden waited an entire week to respond, and signaled that he was going to do something. As a result we are bombing, deserted, and empty targets.

there have been over 160 attacks before he even responded and then when he needed to respond, he wasn’t ready.

this is extremely weak leadership. Our enemies are laughing at us, and kicking our ass.

Joe Biden is funding the war he is fighting.

There you go. He’s a warmonger and he’s weak. I knew this argument could be made.

It’s not an argument, those are facts.

if you think that is a show of strength, if you think that’s a show of strength, that’s on you.

Has he ever voted against a war? He co- sponsored the Iraq invasion. But he did object to killing Bin Laden.

Blowing up shet is a show of strength. It’s a proper response in my book. Ignoring Putin’s redlines is a show of strength. We were supposed to be in a nuclear war if we gave Ukraine some bullets. Now they are flying our old planes around.

My personal preference is air strikes versus troops on the ground. Hopefully that deters them or we step it up.

None of us know what the military leaders are advising or how the targets they picked are selected and why.

I do agree it’s odd to announce in the way Biden did a couple days before.

Tit for tat won’t deter them. But outside of getting the world to go along with economically crippling Iran there isn’t much else we can do. Or war.

1. if Biden hadn’t removed the sanctions on Iran, and left $89 billion worth of military equipment in Afghanistan, none of this would have happened

2. After the first attack, the appropriate response would’ve been to reinstate the Trump sanctions on Iran.

3. If attacks continue, blow up the source immediately. Tighten the screws on a Iran.

Yep. And every time we do leave, whoever made the call to pull out has to take shiit when the situation on the ground gets worse in the short term. The only reason we’re there seems to be for the military industrial complex to play Risk and spend $.

We should remove all our troops, stop the drone strikes, tell Israel they’re on their own and be done with it.

What are these 160 attacks you are referring to?

There have been at least 160 attacks on U.S. troops in the Middle East since mid-October, following this weekend's attack on a base in Jordan near the Syrian border that left three American soldiers dead and dozens of others injured, U.S. officials said.

Not sure what they are defining as “attacks” but yeah it’s time to blow some stuff up.

If people want to be critical of Biden for being slow to respond I think that is fair.

To then at the same time say he’s being a warmonger is funny to me.

Attacks just like the one that killed three American servicemen/woman last week.

Link to where I said he was a war monger.

either way you have shown that you are completely ignorant on this topic

Of course.

We have a military presence in the Middle East in order to ensure the smooth production and flow of the world’s petroleum supply. This flow is vital to our economy because oil is a globally traded commodity: even if 100% of the oil that we use in the United States came from sources other than the Middle East, we would still be dramatically affected, negatively, by any cut in Middle East oil.

The only way to change this is to move the world off oil by finding a viable alternative. If we can do that we can eliminate any need for a military presence. But we can never not be involved due the threat and/or presence of nuclear weapons.

Mostly peaceful "attacks".

We needed to punish the perpetrators of these attacks without getting ourselves into a war with Iran. Thats why we had to telegraph what we’re doing. I don’t think Biden has made any real mistakes here.

If some dude firing a gun at a fence is an attack then I would say that is a bit misleading.

The Houthis had attempted attacks on US ships in Red Sea twice IIRC before we started in on them.

I don’t diary every posters thoughts on subjects so no clue what you have said. People have called Biden a warmonger.

If you want to say we reacted too slowly that is fair. I prefer deliberate, slow responses but if our troops get killed you need to start going a bit more HAM. I would want a few more things to get blown up. Also don’t want to go to war with Iran either and completely fock up the region. It’s a no win situation.

Unfortunately, Iran is the perpetrator. What Iran is doing in the Middle East is the same thing we are doing in Eastern Europe and the Ukraine.

He dropped the sanctions on Iran. That was the big mistake now he’s paying for it.

I sure missed the piece we had under President Trump

I do have other shet I need to do all day. I assume you do as well. Yesterday you were unaware of you orange king rooting on the crash of the stock market for instance. You have been “ignorant” on numerous other occasions.

Perhaps you shouldn’t spend every waking minute on here 😂

Yes. Not knowing exactly what Trump said and being unaware that we have been attacked 165 times in a few months is the same. Lol.

This makes no sense. Trump’s order to kill Solemani was a bigger act of war than anything Biden has done. So were the sanctions.

These attacks have been going on for four months.

One of two people who will run the country rooting for the markets to crash so he doesn’t look bad was a pretty big story. Hard to believe you missed this but I get it you occasional do other things than refresh this page.

I didn’t recall reading about all these attacks for sure and was surprised by that article. It was a little light on details and would like to see more info.

When / if we start really blowing shet up in the ME please don’t start complaining that Biden is a warmonger and feeding the war machine or what not.

Well obviously it wasn’t a bigger act of war, because it calmed down the Middle East until Biden dropped the Iranian sanctions. I guess we could also talk about the billions of dollars Iranian assets Biden released.
