BeenHereBefore 1,455 Posted February 8, 2024 Granted KC has been a very good team for about 8 years since Mahomes has been their QB but think they had some favorable calls go their way in big games. Was this way with the Patriots before them and seems to me the NFL had KC in waiting after the Patriots would reach their end. It's working now and they have 3/4 of the country hating KC just like it was with the Patriots. Truth be told I think KC should have beat the Pats in that one AFC championship game if it wasn't for a bs neutral zone call. Seemed the NFL was still milking all they could get out of the Patriots and didn't want KC to take over yet. 1

NFL doesn't need them to win and already has a enough people hating on them and enough fans for them. The Cowboys games will always bring big ratings. BeenHereBefore 1,455 Posted February 8, 2024 Add in Taylor Swift and they have the Perfect Storm and couldn't get any better for the NFL now.

We all know on Sunday there will be a controversial call that will go towards KC and quite possibly give them the win.

Im not in the group of people who thinks the NFL is rigged game by game week by week and Vegas money has a say. That doesn't happen. I do think refs sway towards big time stars of the game. I do entertain the idea that the NFL gives them a nudge and a wink meaning hey we need a good rub for our top teams. But I don't know. Ive seen egregious calls all sorts of ways. Im not firmly into anything is rigged camp. But I do entertain parts of the idea.

BeenHereBefore 1,455 Posted February 8, 2024 My point is the NFL had this planed for a few years waiting for the Pats end and had their next Villain team in waiting. Taylor Swift is icing on the cake and couldn't had worked out any better for them. Will KC win the SB Sunday ? I'm not so sure and the NFL is more than happy they are in it and what matters most to them.
weepaws 3,154 Posted February 8, 2024 Mike Renfro was in bounds. When the Steelers outscored the Hawks in that super bowl, that told me the nfl was trying to fix what was broken, nfl wanted the Steelers to win, problem was the hawks in that game were a lot better. Two splash plays is what won it for Pitt but yea looked like the refs was favoring them.
