Jalen Carter hands out death threats and includes family

Carter got his feelers hurt in a game and later comes back and tells dude he is going to kill him and his kids will never see him again. Carter started the season out playing pretty well for the first few games then after teams started to figure him out he turned to shlt. 

His whole life is a piece of shlt. He fits right in in philthadelphia. I hope the NFL does the right thing here and suspends Carter for life. 

San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Jon Feliciano claimed on X that Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter said he was going to murder him as the two played against each other in a Dec. 3, 2023 regular season matchup.

The lead-in to that moment began on a completely unrelated matter.

On Tuesday afternoon, Feliciano corrected an X user who thought 49ers right tackle Colton McKivitz missed a key block on Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones in overtime of Sunday's Super Bowl LVIII matchup. While Feliciano defended McKivitz, he also indirectly alluded to teammate Spencer Buford missing his assignment in the 25-22 loss to the Chiefs.

 

Buford caught wind of the Feliciano's tweets and took umbrage to the remarks. Feliciano then apologized to Buford, saying he was hungover and should have handled the situation better.

 

Carter then caught wind of the ordeal and claimed that Feliciano "spoke on" his former University of Georgia teammate, Devin Willock, who died tragically in a car accident in Jan. 2023. That moment reportedly happened during the 49ers' 42-19 road win over the Eagles in the aforementioned Dec. 3 game.

 

Willock was a passenger in one of two vehicles speeding in a early-morning street race in Athens, Georgia. He and the driver, Georgia recruiting analyst Chandler LeCroy, died after the 2021 Ford Expedition they were in struck two power poles and several trees.

Carter was operating the other vehicle. He pled no contest to two misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and racing.

When word got out on Feliciano's alleged remarks, the 49er guard offered his side of the events.

He admitted speaking about Willock. Feliciano also added that his remarks were in response to Carter allegedly saying he was going to kill him, and that the Eagle added that he would never see his children again. Feliciano then alleged that Carter kept posting his family and reaching out to his friends on social media as well.

 

 

Feliciano then posted a screenshot purportedly of Carter tagging him in an Instagram story (click on post for full image) with a picture of the 31-year-old 49er and his kids. He also said he reported the matter to the NFL.

Feliciano then closed the loop on his end with this remark:

 

Feliciano is a nine-year veteran (113 games, 61 starts) who has played for the Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants and 49ers. He started for the entirety of the 49ers' playoff run.

Being accused of making death threats didn't sit well with Carter, whose tweets surfaced on social media through screenshots.

"It's cause he already see y'all calling me a murder(er) so he just gone keep that going he know y'all goin to love it," Carter tweeted. "I can't beat that if you got the fans on your side than you're right I guess."

Carter also wrote that he's trying to "be the best ever" while implying players like Feliciano are "just trying not to get traded."

While Carter's tweets dispute Feliciano's allegations toward him, a prior screenshot floating around social media shows that Carter posted a picture of Feliciano with his kids on his private Instagram story.

"I'm your biggest fan, I'll get up with ya," Carter captioned the photo with.

While this confusing caption and the inclusion of the picture don't appear threatening on the surface, Carter's alleged comments made toward Feliciano about his children adds context to the post. The situation is becoming more disturbing with each new detail. 

Take a look:

Carter slipped in the first round because of character questions. And now, despite the aforementioned brilliant football skills and increased maturity, Carter - who would be wise to take the issue of death very seriously - has made it clear he's still got a lot of growing up to do.

His entire body of work in his first NFL season looks fairly impressive. He finished third in sacks, third in TFLs, and fourth in quarterback hits on a team with big names across their defensive line. Carter still finished second in voting for the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award. However, scrutiny of the timeline is necessary to understand the deeper context of his rookie season.

Carter offered very little impact while the Philadelphia defense went down in flames late in 2023. The Eagles could’ve used a spark from their younger standout players at the end of the season. Instead, aging franchise heroes like Cox and Brandon Graham were the ones making plays in the NFC Wild Card Round.

Carter and the other young players offered little solution after the promotion of Matt Patricia as the primary decision-maker on defense. The Eagles slipped to a 29th-overall finish in defensive DVOA.

Their run defense looked like a strength as a top-ranked unit early in the season thanks to Carter and Davis. They slipped to a 23rd-overall finish. The embarrassment peaked when the lowly Arizona Cardinals gashed the Eagles with 221 yards on the ground in Week 17.

A player who looked like he had the DROY wrapped up early in the season was suddenly nowhere to be found.

Hes a good player.  I cant speak on the human being.  From what I know seems iffy at best.  It was always a bit of a risky pick.  With huge upside.  This was established in thr analysis after the pick.
