I think many want this.  I do.  But I mainly solves the "headline grabbing" deaths by guns.  Those are important also.  I'd love to see strict as fock background checks. 


The thugs shooting folks and each other-- back ground checks won't stop those that already have guns.  

Slowly ridding the Earth of offenders, will also stop/slow the gangs/thug/street shootings.

I concur.  I DO believe there might be some deterrence around the death penalty, but for me its just not a "solution"; other than for rapists....whom I think should be burned alive by their victim, but I digress.

I am no more interested in the murder of criminals than I am in the murder of babies in the womb, but I am more allowing for the babies I guess...which is pretty weird now that I am thinking more about it.....

No, I do get it, you're being a hypocrite and trying to deny it.  The actual "punishment" is irrelevant.  You want conservatives to be responsible and accountable if a person who had been convicted of a crime and was put to death, if he was later found to be innocent.  YET, you're ok with no such responsibility or accountability if an illegal immigrant is detained and then let go because of their stances on bail reform and sanctuary status, and then goes out and commits another crime... especially a violent crime and kills someone.
