Theyre satisfied when Hamas is no longer a threat to innocent people.  They have made that very clear over and over again.

Hamas has come out publicly multiple times and said they will do this again.  Israel has no choice and i support it 1000%

I guess what I’m saying is Israel going HAM on areas is expected and justified but to what end? When does it become too much and harmful to long term goals.

I would say you listen to your allies and let them help determine an off-ramp. That is what is happening now.

One indicator might be:  when the Palestinian people reject Hamas, and install leadership which is interested in the peaceful co-existence of Israel.  

Because until they do, I'd say with confidence that you are more interested in ending this than they are.

That is fair. I am just saying that starving their kids, leveling their neighborhoods for months on end, blocking aide might at some point be counter productive. 

When your allies are asking to catch a breath it is prudent to listen.
