Malik Nabers may be the first receiver taken.

Maybe so. I just see a lot of mocks having Hunter going to Cleveland. Cornerback doesn't seem to be a weakness of theirs as they have Ward, Emerson, and Newsome. These guys are no slouches in the least. Maybe Cleveland doesn't take him.

But whatever happens, happens I guess.

Could be team dependent I suppose.  Wouldnt rule out Browns taking a QB is thry like them. Wouldnt rule out them trading out of 2 since they need a total rebuild.   Say what you want about the top 2 QBs. But QBs find their way 1-2 a lot via trade.  They could also take thr Penn State edge I forget his name.

Who’s gonna trade for Garret Wilson if he is available? Chargers would be a great fit, don’t know if they have enough to get it done. Redskins too.

Abdul Carter. I would love the Bears to get that guy. But no chance in hell of that.

Chargers have like $64 million in cap space before roster cuts and resigning's.

he's a special athlete. I dont think anyone needs to read into team needs or what position he will play as far as who takes him.

Here is one write up from nfl.com. I mean, I get it, these are just opinions.

Despite Deshaun Watson's injury issues (and subpar play), the Browns pass on a quarterback at No. 2 to select a true two-way star in Hunter. I expect the Heisman Trophy winner to focus on offense at the next level because of his special ball skills and athleticism, both of which are lacking in the Browns' wideout room. And just imagine Hunter occasionally lining up opposite Denzel Ward at the other corner spot when DC Jim Schwartz wants to match up with the league's top receiver duos.

Colorado DB/WR Travis Hunter was listed as a defensive back on the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine invite list.
The question everybody wants answered is whether or not Hunter will play as a defensive back or as a receiver at the pro level. While this list doesn’t put any guarantees on how Hunter will be utilized once he reaches the NFL, it perhaps offers some insight into how teams view him heading into the draft. The two-way player excelled as both a defensive back and receiver during his three college seasons and was awarded the Heisman Trophy for his efforts last season. It’s still possible Hunter will do some drills with the receivers, but we may not get more clarity on that until the combine.

Yeah. It will depend on who drafts him. If the team has strong receivers and a rough secondary, then you know they want him as a DB. But vice versa, who knows? I would be interested to see what Cleveland does if they draft him at #2.

I’m not a big college football guy. Is Hunter considered the best WR and the best corner in this class? Or are people reacting to his two-way ability? Seems unlikely he plays both ways for more than a few snaps at the pro level.

hes the best corner, but the hype is cause the 2 way ability, hes a good WR, but not game breaking

Okay, Ty. I guess I could see drafting a lockdown corner at 3. I have a feeling he ends up going outside the Top 5.

I think hes the best CB in this draft, but lets be clear, hes no Sauce or Revis or even close

I have him at 8 as just a CB and around 22 as just a WR (WR3/4)

I don't think he slides past 5.
