You pay $70 for a hair cut and beard trim at the salon. People that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Sounds like you are gay for me. Calm down sailor!

Yeah I go do track days all the time goofy. Tesla only wins 0-60 in a straight line, throw in one turn and it's a turtle.

You're not a car guy, quit pretending to be. I swear liberals are the fakest mfers aliveΒ

Drive theΒ Β performance one. They will give you the card to let you take the car, go find a bit of open road and punch it.

That is the one I would buy if I got one.Β  It is less miles on a charge, but I need the hitch and the 3500 tow power.Β

I am not getting rid of my car, so I have plenty of time to wait for the one I want

Nice. If you haven’t I would read a bit about towing and how the impacts battery how far you are driving why towing etc. Like if you are towing a boat a long distance to say a remote lake.Β

No clue about that.

All EVs have terrible resale value. It costs about $20,000 to replace the batteries from a dealer.Β

You'd be a fool to purchase any used EV.Β

People are buying 10 year old Teslas for like 20k.

What's the life expectancy of a battery?Β  If it's 12 to 15 years, then yeah, someone is an idiot for paying $20k for one if it's going to cost another $20k in 2 to 5 years.Β  In that scenario, you're better off buying a new one for $45k.

No clue about this. I believe it is more miles driven and amount of cycles you have charged ratherΒ than simply the years but am not sure.

I would definitely be looking at this closely if I were buying an old car, just like buying any used car, knowing what I was getting into.Β

I don't even buy used gas cars. Never made sense to me. I want to know everything my car has been through and how well it was taken care of.Β

Went to test drive a dual motor Model Y - WOW. What balls, thing had pickup way faster than I expected.

The deadlineΒ  for .099 APR was may 31, the day I drove the car.

I have a bank of Tesla chargers within 1/4 mile of my house. I thought they were free for tesla, turns out they are not.

I was using that to justify buying one. They said it costs about $25 for a full charge from near empty. My car costs about $50 to fill.. Still not worth it.Β

will wait to see if they offer 0 APR.Β

also my kid saw the cybertruck, he said if I buy a tesla it has to be that

Yeah you pay for Tesla chargers or pretty much any of the services. I rarely plug in my car at home but I believe in my state it is around 10 bucks to fully charge there a little less depending on time of day.

Unless you can’t charge at home or are on a roadtrip I’d def pass on the Superchargers.

I like this analogyΒ

Β

Comparing Tesla 0-60 times to real performance cars is like comparing a microwave to a bbq grill. It may cook faster, but nobody ever wished for a microwaved burger.
