BunnysBastatrds 2,436 Posted June 21, 2024 …oh wait. I just went to Mc Donald’s to get two shakes and a large fry.. They were cleaning the shake machine so I just got the fry’s. $ 3.29. So I drive two miles and go to Rally’s. I ordered two medium shakes and a big Buford. The girl says “That will be $18.60.” Me: For two shakes and a burger? No thanks. As I’m driving through she stops me. Big Booty: You don’t want the order? Me: No thanks. Big Booty: Tell ya what. I’ll get you the small shakes for $7.30. Do you want the burger? Me: No mam. Just the shakes. And hey, you got any fries with that shake? She came back giggling and got me two larges. Charm will guide you and who knows.

MDC 7,407 Posted May 31 Grocery bill for a family of 3 today was $290. London broil going for filet mignon prices. Is it Day 1 yet?
5-Points 3,523 Posted May 31 Prices never come down as fast as they go up. Retailers aren't going to lose profits when they can continue to rape customers who have no other choice but to pay the higher prices. Covid was proof of that.
Hardcore troubadour 15,414 Posted May 31 Imaging whining about the guy that on the campaign trail said he would reduce prices and never about to guy that caused them to go up? Such is the life of a centrist.

At one Indian run store near me a 12 pack is $17.50. Down the street, another store sells it for for $13.45. A couple miles away, a major chain liquor store sells it for $12.25.
