Those lithium leach fields are in the world’s largest salt lake, which is dry most of the time. Water doesn’t drain from the salt lake, it evaporates. This is definitely a hazard, but it’s extremely limited in its scope. SUV for if you ski, bike, camp, drag kids around town, etc and an EV for commuting to work (if both work longest drive take the EV), running errands, grocery store, etc. The EV can be used in most situations but having that gas car around is still nice for the long trips. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
