It’s hard to deny that society has changed for the worse, much worse, since the Bible was taken out of schools. Kids today could benefit from a stronger moral compass.

That should be up to the parents then, shouldn't it?  I would be in favor of an elective class as an option.

I agree with you but our country is about personal freedom.  I don't want our government telling everyone how they need to live their lives and raise their families.

No one is saying that school children should be force to read the Bible, nor should they be handed a Bible when they enter into school. 

Parents should be able to have a opinion about that their kids are being taught, but today they don’t, in many cases teachers don’t, the system is over ruling everyone, and is telling teachers to tell the children not to tell their parents.  

Why not allow the children to have the freedom to choose course that teaches righteousness, that teachers don’t have to be ashamed of teaching, snd that children won’t be told to keep it quiet, don’t let your parents know, and if the parents disagree about their children learning the Bible, let them discuss it with their children.  

No one wants to force it , God doesn’t, God gives everyone free Will to choose we’re their own soul ends up, everyone has two choices, Hell, or Heaven, and God doesn’t robot anyone in picking the making the righteous decisions of Heaven, if you choose Hell , it’s on you.  

Kids should have choices, and school system should be hiding what is being taught nor bully anyone in teaching unrighteousness.
