TB12 to the Dolphins?????

Recommended Posts

Perfect on so many levels.

He can stop his dreadful announcing debacle.

Use the excuse he is going back to play.

Greg Olsen can get his job back at Fox

My favorite part of your plan. One of the few announcers I who actually makes the game more enjoyable to me.

Olsen got focked by Fox. He would be smart to tell them to pound sand if this happens. He is worlds better than TB12 could ever be.

TB being part owner of the Raiders might be problematic......

It hasn't even gone through. He is still waiting

He's been working on it for over a year and it's on the verge of becoming reality.  He also has partners in the endeavor.  You think he's just going to walk away from all that to play QB for a few more months?  I don't think so.

It's not about playing QB as much as it is an excuse to stop announcing. He sucks

Sure, but he may not think so and he's getting paid a lot of money to suck.  Pretty sure he doesn't care what you think of his announcing skills.  I've only heard him once and, while I didn't think he was great, he didn't bother me.  Maybe give him more than a week to get acclimated to the role?

or play QB for the Dolphins, something he wanted to do years ago and they have much better weapons now

Should it happen? No.   I would agree with Strike, he probably doesn't think he sucks, I listened to a bit last Sunday and while he wasn't good, he wasn't the worst i've heard. He's getting paid lots to do it, and the whole Raiders thing.

Could it happen?  Brady is one of the few guys I could see making a bad decision to come back like that.

Ryan Tannehill makes the most sense.  Could you imagine Tannehill going back to the Dolphins, finally with a real team around him, and he wins a Super Bowl?

Could Tom Brady Be Coaxed out of Retirement?

I know — I am sorry to do this, but it will inevitably be asked if any starting quarterback misses time.

Tom Brady is one year removed from his NFL career and set to embark on a career in the booth, but could a team tempt him out for one more run?

The last time we saw Brady, he was leading the league in completion, attempts, and sack rate, but he certainly did not look the same as he had even the year before. Brady’s yards per attempt dropped from a career average of 7.4 to 6.4, and his touchdown percentage of 3.4% was two full points below his career average.

In that final season, Brady marshaled a very good Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster to an 8-9 record after going 13-4 the year before.

At 47 years of age, there is no guarantee that Brady would be any better than signing Tannehill. I never thought I would be writing those words.

Griese’s #12 is retired…. I guess they could ask like when Haskins asked Theismann, if this happens…

Brady said he'd be open to a return. During an interview in April, Brady was asked if he'd think about coming out of retirement if a team needed him due to an injury to their starting quarterback. "I'm not opposed to it," Brady said at the time.
