JagFan 128 Posted October 30 Did the Jets trade for Adams so he and Rodgers can quit on another team together like they did in GB? It’s coming. Would love to hear from all the Jets fans here that were clearly confusseled in the preseason. Thanks
DocNiner 57 Posted October 30 Yeah, I'm not a Jets fan but it seems like they're in a hole I don't think they'll be able to.climb out of.come playoffs time. They make not even make the playoffs. The Bills have a stranglehold on the division so the Jets can forget.about an AFC East title unless the Bills fall completely apart which I don't think will happen. I'm sure Rodgers is glad to have Adams and he'll probably force feed the ball to him which will not be a good thing for the rest of the Jets skill players. Yes they have a good defense but how long will they continue to ball out with the offense not producing as what was expected. The defense is gonna lose interest and the hole they're in will only get bigger. I would have liked to see Rodgers succeed in New York and even thought getting Adams would juice the team up. Just hasn't happened and sadly I don't think it is going to happen. Just my opinion. So.enjoy or not watching Rodgers as it could well be his last season playing in the NFL. May not even make the playoffs? Bro they’re 2-6. It’s a virtual certainty they don’t make the playoffs

makindollaz 51 Posted October 31 At this point it’s way more likely the Jets draft in the top 10 than make the playoffs.
plasma george 61 Posted October 31 FF wise, I drafted Adams and was very thankful he moved to Jets with Rodgers. It seems odd he didn't have immediate impact, with all their history. I have to keep starting him, figuring Adams just needs more time to learn the Playbook.

Rodgers is washed up and Devante isn’t good enough to be wildly successful with literally any QB anymore
weepaws 2,986 Posted October 31 Interesting situation, you have a very good young wr, and now they bring in Adams, i don’t think Rodgers is good enough to feed them both.

They might be able to lose 1 along the way. If that comes to pass, they will be 10-7. I think that gets them there as a wild card. While teams have made the playoffs with a 9-8 record or worse, its atypical and I wouldnt bet on this. any worse than 10-7, and they are likely on the outside looking in. (and 10-7 isnt a guaranteed playoff spot either) but if they run the table, 11-6 will do it for sure. I'd say at this point their chances to make the playoffs is low. No doubt about it, but definitely not impossible.
