DonS 3,292 Posted November 2, 2024 Sitting at a restaurant and I can hear the lady in the booth behind me going into full Karen mode. Here's my question.... if the complaining lady that asks to speak to the manager is black, is she still considered a Karen? Is there a more race appropriate term? DonS 3,292 Posted November 2, 2024 When the manager came I was able to hear her complaint, and I must say I'm on Team Ka’requah. Sounds like she ordered Old Bay Wings, but when they arrived they didn't have ANY Old Bay on it. Definitely wouldn't order that myself, but yeah the Old Bay is kinda expected if the menu calls them Old Bay wings. Bonus points for the southern black lady way of saying "If they are having a bad day then I pray for them". Is that the equivalent of the Midwest "bless your heart?"
