I despise Taylor Lorenz but this is the least vile, off-putting, and horrible thing that she has ever written. 

Some murder victims register significantly less sympathy than others. Making piles of money by being in the business of finding legal loopholes to fock people and their families over registers a 0.000 with me. I wouldn't advocate for shooting him like she did, but at the same time I won't shed any tears for the deceased nor feel bad or unsafe if the murderer got away.

5 or 6 years ago, I decided to look at the contributions from the private sector made to a very liberal female senator from my home state. She's always been outspoken regarding her negativity towards both health insurance companies & pharmaceuticals. I wasn't surprised to see that she accepted contributions from both. She never misses a chance for political grandstanding relating to these two sectors, & knows that most of her constituents (democrats) will be ignorant enough to believe she's really fighting for them.

Her behavior is perfectly described in a quote from Thomas Sowell, & you can apply this to all Democrat politicians.

When you want to help someone, you tell them the truth, when you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear.
