At least Grohl has worked his ass off to help the homeless and wildfire victims, and it's just dumb to dismiss Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Crooked Vultures and other groups in which he has participated just because you think he's a doosh. I went and saw an Elvis tribute artist last year, and he did a version of "Poke Salad Annie," which I'd never before heard. It was a hell of a performance and got me listening to his later work, and some of that stuff blew me away. Some of his best songs are in his later work.
