JagFan 157 Posted April 17 The NFL is probably behind this whole thing, and paying Mr Drama Queen not to choose. It’s all part of their “offseason show”. I really wish they’d drop a little money to exterminate the rodent problem in KC.
Maximum Overkill 1,891 Posted April 17 Aaron Rodgers has appeared in ONLY one Super Bowl, Super Bowl XLV. How long ago was that? Jalen Hurts has been in more Superbowls and has also won a Superbowl MVP. He's also 15 years younger. Can we stop? The Steelers aren't winning anything with Rodgers at QB. weepaws 3,165 Posted April 17 Sounds like Rodgers is on the fence about his future, even about retirement.
LaChup 233 Posted June 6 He just got back from his latest ayahuasca retreat and, apparently, he saw steel curtains in the forest. Mike Tomlin HOF!
JagFan 157 Posted June 6 So, the big question is….who do the Stillers take with the #1 overall pick in next years draft?
RareN64Dream 21 Posted June 6 Aaron Rodgers looks pretty cringe in a Steelers jersey. But, I do hope they do well and he doesn't get injured etc. Obviously, I am going to root for my home team; but I don't get mad when other teams have happiness, like the Steelers in this situation. I used to care more about losing; but now I don't really care anymore. The team I root for has never won a Super Bowl hahah

nobody 2,641 Posted Monday at 09:29 PM I listen to NFL podcasts while I workout and drive, and it's crazy how much the majority of the media absolutely hates Rodgers.

I'm ok with that. He doesn't deal with their bs. The majority of the media is bs and not really a lot of substance. For example, after Todd Bowles was named Bucs Head Coach, Jenna Lane asked him about being one of only 2 black HC's in the league. He brushed it off saying it's about his performance, not race. Rick Stroud (I think), followed up with another race related question that he brushed off. Jenna Lane, ever the persistent idiot, doubled down and asked him about his relationship with Mike Tomlin, "as the other black coach". Seriously, why bother with those people? The vast majority of questions that the media asks is about what makes the reporter look good and not what the fans, players, or teams care about.

Dude, this is all the media of any kind cares about anymore. They make such a big deal out of things that they think makes them look good as you said. The vast majority of people in this country don’t see any inequality in individuals based on ethnicity or spiritual beliefs, but folks still love to stir the pot and it’s insane. If players want to take a knee to make a statement about years of oppression, then good for them. That’s their right as an American. If you’re a sports reporter, then just report on sports….period. But the NFL eats it up. Just like with the whole Taylor Swift thing. If Kelce wants to marry a chick that looks like a rodent, then good for him. But get it off my TV when I’m trying to watch football. We agree yet again.

To me, the more reporters that are mad at someone, I like that person more.

I agree with your overall point but I did have to laugh at Bowles saying its about performance. Not because he's wrong... just because he's Todd Bowles. WhiteWonder 2,718 Posted 7 hours ago As for Rodgers and as a Jets fan... I will say that I never wanted him in the first place but in that first offseason and camp with the Jets, he was doing and saying all the right things and I was starting to buy into him as being more likeable than he seemed toward the end in GB. He genuinely seemed to embrace NY and embrace being a mentor to Zach Wilson for whatever it's worth. Having him go down on prime time week 1, 1st series was just a typical Jets thing to have happen. The team went on to win 7 games and I am fully convinced that was a playoff team with a healthy Rodgers. Unfortunately, the rest of his Jets tenure was trash and toxic. You have to blame ownership for allowing him to behave however he wanted and do whatever he wanted but you also can't deny that he is a headcase and has a huge ego. The guy said that outside noise had to be eliminated, yet continued to go on McAfee. Needed his security blanket WR. Is the only reason Hackett wasn't canned and as much as I didn't care for Saleh, he big timed his coach on multiple occasions... because he knew he could. I dont really care what the media thinks of him but he just seems like a totally unlikable guy
