It's Winter

Recommended Posts

I got an inch of ice one my driveway.

A foot of ice and snow boulders at the end of my driveway.

And it's 24 degrees with 50-60 mph winds.

But yay. The suns out.

Was even better today.  Had -15 and felt like -26 this morning.

If this global warming keeps up, I'm going to need a snowmobile.

What's odd is that we've had some crazy cold but almost no snow this winter.  This may be the least amount of snow we've ever had.

That's because the jet stream has stayed to the south. Low pressure systems ride along the jet stream and that's why they've had so much winter weather in the south, & those of us in the upper Midwest haven't seen very many storms, just crazy cold.

That's changed this week. In the last 5 days it's snowed 4 times.
