Total sales. Like a normal person would. You did too and found out you were wrong so you decided to try and slip that bullshitt by. Just admit you were wrong.

What's the total sales number?  Post it and I will admit I'm wrong.

But I know you can't. You made it up just like you make everything up.

Firing of people that are responsible for nuclear weapons?  Firing people investing bird flu?  Slashing the IRS and social security and the VA

Yeah lets how it all plays out.  Maybe if enough nukes are lost or people die then maybe we'll start asking questions right?  Until then we should just be quiet and see what happens.

Are you not seeing the pattern here? Going through and cutting anything that mentions "trans" or "gay" doesn’t exactly inspire competency.  You can not do this job by running a basic computer program looking for catchphrases.

Taking the focus off DEI is great for this country Rusty. And there is no such thing as a 'transexual'.

I dont think taking down pictures has any relevance whatsoever on the other part.  You do and that's fine, I just don't agree.

One thing I can't do and won't do, is act like I know what something can and cannot do in these situations.  You say it can't be done with a basic computer program--why not?  What roadblocks would pop up doing it that way?

Look at what the idea of transexual has done to this country. People have died over it.

Time to cut that shlt out now.

It’s not just pictures, Mike. That’s the point. They’re cutting anything that has those words (and more) in it.

There has been multiple stories that offer this proof. Are you being willfully ignorant?

Two things, CAN it be done?  Yes.  It HAS been done.

SHOULD it be done?  Absolutely not.

Musk and his kid dogebags should not be firing people and cutting programs based on what their crude search returns.  I would hope we could all agree on this.

Why should it not be done?   How is their search crude?  Can you explain the parameters of the search to me?  Cause I don't know how it works, what it looks for etc.   Since you seem to, tell me how it functions.  Then I might be able to better answer this

I get your point.  I just don't understand the correlation to the DOGE teams competence based on these pictures being taken down.

They're searching for words in contracts and cancelling those contracts.  Same with job descriptions.  I shouldn't have to explain why this is a bad idea.

Ok so...Are you saying...This basic computer program searches for a word in a contract, and when it's found...No other investigation is done and they simply cancel the contract?  Poof?   Is that what you just said?

The Enola Gay, photos were flagged for removal because of the word gay. They took down references to the Tuskegee Airmen because it was within the DEI parameters. It’s how we got the confusion over trans mice. They already had to try to rehire the people studying the bird flu, because they didn’t understand it was under the USAID umbrella. They’ve had to take down a bunch of "receipts" from the Doge Wall after people kept pointing out math mistakes. The list goes on and on.

But sure, let’s wait and see how it goes.

Stillllll don't know how that relates to DOGE.  But Ok.  We can agree to disagree

DOGE is creating these searches that don't really work.

Search for the word "Gay" in these documents. It finds references to the Enola Gay. The Enola Gay was a bomber that dropped one of the bombs on Japan. Has NOTHING to do with homosexuality, trans rights, etc. But these "searchers" see the word gay and immediately flag it and remove it.

Kind of a ridiculous way to search and "find stuff" to remove, IMO.

Search is highly flawed, but is being done by people named "BigBallz" or some other 22 year old kid that has NO idea that the Enola Gay was a plane in WW2.

ROFLMAO.  You're 100 percent wrong on this.  The military is doing those things to try to make Hegseth look dumb.  He is going to b*tchslap them down just like he did last time.   They're calling it "Malicious Compliance."

Don't fall for the "Enola Gay" misinformation.  That is not being done due to a DOGE search.  That is the military trying to make Hegseth look foolish.  He will take care of that quickly.  Watch.

  • Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had given the military until Wednesday to remove content that highlights diversity efforts following President Trump's executive order ending those programs.
  • "We are pleased by the rapid compliance across the Department with the directive removing DEI content," said a Pentagon spokesman. "In the rare cases that content is removed that is out of the clearly outlined scope of the directive, we instruct components accordingly."

looks to me that if they make a mistake, which they will do, they correct them.

But I have been told, that this computer system, once it finds a word, eliminates the entity that had the word.   So you are saying there might be someone overlooking this after the geeks find these things?   Weird.

It better to have to put something back together again after you have broken it, or to not break it in the first place?

I've worked in technology for nearly 30 years.

We geeks totally wish this was the case; but it is not.

My parents live on a lake with their own beach, boats on boatlifts, water, in Nebraska. So I will have beachfront property in Nebraska to sell if the price is right. There are lots of lakes around here with lots and homes on them actually.

Now you're going to drop back and argue symantics?   Look, you foked up by not saying ocean front property.  Just come to grips with your stupidity already.  It's the lack of getting the details correct that really hinder you being able to effectively communicate on message boards. It's probably why you feel so misunderstood.

Beach
