Nike gear is my usual go to. Like their collarless blade style usually. Found some good shorts called Redvanly that are great last summer. Long sleeve and vest in Winter, go some generic version off Amazon. Ecco or Nike shoes.

I spend more time on this than my normal clothes

Same.  I wear a collared shirt and nice shorts or... chinos are they called?  between jeans and dress slacks, depending on the weather. 

Yesterday I went to a cheap course that has a decent putting green just to chip/pitch/putt and I had jeans on; I felt underdressed.
