Second: I have read the article you linked and other articles critical of Joy Reid. She is very provocative and over the top. She is, IMO, neither repugnant nor racist. 
 

 

It hurts Squid to admit it, but Reid had documented homophobic posts and slurs.   Reid tried to delete them at first, then lied and said her account was hacked, then owned it and apologized.  Would have been fired from pretty much any network other than MSNBC

The ones I read weren’t homophobic. She was making fun of a conservative politician who was obviously secretly gay, but voting for anti-gay legislation (Charlie Crist). Many LGBTQ activists have done this in the past. I don’t like it. Not homophobic though.

I watched one Joy Reid segment ever. It was such a huge turnoff that I would never even consider listening to her take or opinion on anything again. It even crossed my mind to reach out to MSNBC to express how disappointed I was with how inappropriate I thought she was. I didn't and wouldn't waste my time on it but it did cross my mind.

It was that boating brawl a couple of years ago. It was basically a whites vs blacks fight but it wasn't racially motivated to start with. It was some boat parking dispute with some humorous elements as well. Reid saw it as only a racial fight and she was literally giddy about it. She mentioned Wakanda several times and even that these young black men were channeling their ancestors. She came across as absurdly racist.

I don't get the cults glee in celebrating these two being let go. I guess I do in a way since we're so politically divided and tribal right now. Still, FOX paid over 787M for lying their asses off constantly. Let us know when MSNBC has to pay that much for dishonesty. You've got a long, long, long ways to go. Also, Reid and Wagner aren't the biggest fishes around. What's Tucker Carlson doing these days? Last I heard he was doing some podcast out of Moscow.

I can’t speak for you seafoam1. Somehow, despite the fact that you share the political views of most of the folks here you manage to get voted the most annoying poster on a consistent basis. That’s an extraordinary accomplishment- one would figure that it should be one of us libs, but somehow you always seem to beat us out.

I suggested you get mental help before. I still suggest that. You are a wreck and none of your trying to pile on other dopey liberal or butt hurt people's views of me is going to make you smart all of a sudden. In fact, just the opposite. It makes you dumber.
