It’s a reunion for Pete Carroll and Smith, who also is expected to get a new contract. And Seattle will need a new QB.
weepaws 3,141 Posted March 8 Mmm, very interesting move. Smith isn’t going to have the same offense talent around him, besides te. I guess Seattle goes on the clock fool a Qb now.
LaChup 228 Posted March 8 Guess the Raiders are out on Shadeur Ball too.
weepaws 3,141 Posted March 8 I wouldn’t say that, I can see the Raiders still going Qb, Smith isn’t a young player, and I’m not sure if he can duplicate his success with the Raiders like he had with the Hawks.

weepaws 3,141 Posted March 8 Wonder if the Raiders try to make a deal for Metcalf. And Lockett , he was released.

You're right, I wouldn't trust him, especially if DK is gone to. That 2 game collapse was an all-time choke job.
weepaws 3,141 Posted March 8 Smith is an interesting move, I would think the Raiders need to get some playmakers for him now. And did throw 15 ints last season.

Smith had 3 good WR last year. DK, Locket and Smith-Njigba how many good WR do the raiders have? I predict a disaster.

LaChup 228 Posted March 8 I can see Rodgers going to Seattle. He's grunge.
BufordT 424 Posted March 9 Brock Bowers' value remains intact. Should be another 100 reception year for him.

The Raiders running game sucked last year. WR Jacoby Myers is serviceable and we already know how talented Brock Bowers is drafting of Ashton Jeanty makes perfect sense. Clearly he's the best RB in this class and the Raiders MUST draft Jeanty at pick #6. Some may say that's too early for an RB but their no assurances that a RB they take in round 3 or even round 2 is going to pan out. We know that Jeanty is a franchise running back.and you're not likely to hit the jackpot on an RB on day 2 or 3. They play in a division we 3 good teams.and the Raiders, IMO, are at the bottom of the division. I know we say defenses win.championships but you better have an offense that can put points on the board if you're going to compete against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Taking Jeanty at #6 automatically increases their ability to score points. So, Las Vegas Raiders just don't get cute and over analyze your pick at 6 and RUN to the podium and take RB Ashton Jeanty with your 1st round pick. On another note I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 running backs taken in the first round. Ashton Jeanty, Omarion Hampton and Trey Henderson.

If they don't draft Jeanty then they have no shot of contending and besting the Broncos, Chargers and Chiefs. They just be a team with a little better QB than last year. If they draft Jeanty then they should at least be able to put points on the board and be respectful competition for the other 3 teams in the division.
