We will not see it in our lifetimes, but our grand/great grandchildren most certainly will if the demographic shift in the West continues to skew. 

That being said, I can tell you that without Filipinos and Hispanics, the Catholic church up here in my are (NYC) would've long been put to pasture for the most part ... even still, churches and schools are being shut down, and the property being sold - whole parishes have disappeared. 

But lemme tell ya, the white liberal holier than thou virtue signalers who are facilitating this better look the fock out ... you go roll up on a Spanish chick and tell her to remove her OLG statue because it's offensive to "others", and you'll be lucky if the only thing that happens is you end up limbless.  

We are losing, though.  

We are losing because the love and pride for this country has been demonized, we are losing the spiritual battle - and it's one we won't recover from.

I think the general public did not really give a rat's ass about it.  Congress would not free up money for the pedestal.  A year's long fund raising campaign ensued.  To try to draw attention to a matter which was of very minor concern to the country she wrote a poem.  Newspapaers pushing the projet glommed on and pushed her poem forward.  In the end the opedestal was paid for and she got recognition for funding that private/public partnership.  What the average steel worker or farmer thought about it who can say.  From memory i do believe it got some traction among school children who sent in their pennies in support of the effort.

1. I don’t need to ask myself why; I already know. Individual Muslims come to the USA (and Western countries in general) for two reasons: economic opportunities and to ESCAPE the social conservatism you’re referring to. 
2. Muslims are generally more conservative on gay issues than westerners are. However I personally know some gay Muslims who live here for that exact reason. 
3. Muslims don’t vote in a bloc. Nor do they think in a bloc. I know many Muslims who are quite liberal, and some, like one of my business partners, who loves Trump. 
4. We’re not losing. The more Muslims that come here (and the more immigrants in general) we win because our ideas are spreading around the world. The only way we can lose is by shutting our doors the way the nativists want.

The Crusades were a savage affair on all sides. Christians slaughtered Muslims and Jews alike and were slaughtered right back, it didn’t save Christianity from Islam- that happened hundreds of years later, at the gates of Vienna, and at the Siege of Malta. 
In any event it wasn’t a good Christianity that was saved, it was a savage Christianity of the Inquisition. It wasn’t until the Protestant Reformation and Enlightenment that the modern day “good” Christianity appears. And it wasn’t an evil Islam that was defeated. Islam in those days was the height of civilization and knowledge- it wasn’t until the Mongols nearly destroyed the Middle East that the modern day backwards Islam developed.

Yes Tim, we all believe you when you say you know lots of Muslims, and none of them are fundamentalists. What are the odds? I often think when I read about an honor killing how those Muslims came here to escape Islamic persecution.

there is a reason that Europe is changing for the worse & it is Islam. There is also  reason that a lot of countries are changing their immigration policies & it is not because of an influx of Christians.   You think you are taking the high ground & you really care about Muslims.  Cool, I will pay for you & your immediate family to live for 2 month in the Somalia community just outside of Mnpls.
