Trump used it for things like shutting down natural gas sales and thousands of last minute pardons or autographs to little league teams? The fact you think it’s the same says a lot about the level of ignorance you’re operating with. Good grief.

I seriously doubt the veracity of that claim. But ok take the pardons - is there anything the maga crowd and Trump himself would love more than indicting Liz Cheney or Hunter Biden? They're not going to reverse or cancel the pardons because claiming they are illegal will just mean their own actions big or small could be reversed on the same basis.

You think he went over the thousand pardons that were granted in the last days of his tenure? That vegetable?

Well you raise a good point - didn't Trump pardon a bunch of drug dealers after the visit from Kanye West and Kim Kardashian? And didn't he just do it again with Jan6 convicts? I mean I'm all ears, but you believe or know that Trump personally sat down and scrawled out those hundreds of pardons?

That was all one incident. It was a blanket pardon. Bidens were individual pardons. Not the same. Neither good, but Bidens was obviously being done by someone else. Trumps weren’t.  Do you really need all of this explained to you?

Whoa who whoa. You're arguing that Biden needed someone to secretly sign his own name to his son's pardon? Or Liz Cheney's? And select them for pardons?  And this secret person (who would be...?) didn't want to include Biden himself in that?

And the blanket pardon was ok because... why? After the March Rich scandal - which was absolutely disgusting - a whole process of DOJ and WH counsel review was set up to prevent corrupt and just bad pardons. And Trump eschewed all that in the prior and current term. Who made that list of drug convicts and Jan6 names, you think Donald did that?

And frankly I'd rather you tell me Trump's en-masse pardons were done by someone else because some pretty awful violent people got out. As much as I think poorly of DJT I'd really like to think my president was not personally reviewing the files and approving each of those names. And I'm not talking political stuff.
