BiffTannen 883 Posted April 30 We are almost there. I think next year we should go back to 8 events to keep things fresh. I get burnt out a bit when we have doubleheaders. Also I’m down to eliminate all designated events outside of the memorial because it’s a full field, so we always draft 6.
BiffTannen 883 Posted May 9 I texted Ed the other day to see if he was still in the Geek Ball football league we do and didn’t get a response. It’s already half EdEx guys- me, Cloaco B Ware, Alias, WW, and Jerry. We also have Rusty, shore patrol, Bier, and herbivore. Any of you other guys want in for 2025? $50 PPR

BiffTannen 883 Posted May 10 The Triple 18 Challenge You have the course to yourself and you have 5 hours. You must break 120, drink 18 beers, and eat 18 hotdogs. If you do, you win $1 million. If you fail or tap out you cant play golf for a year. Do you take the challenge? I could do 18 beers and break 120, I don’t know if I could choke down 18 dogs. BiffTannen 883 Posted May 11 As Jerry said earlier, I’ve been itching for a draft. I think it’s a good idea we go back to 8 events next year. When we hammer too much it can be a bit of a burn out.
BiffTannen 883 Posted May 11 I’ll post the money and standings in the thread a bit later. I had a battle this morning with a dude 20 years older than me. I outdrive him by 100 but he is one of those down the middle and make every putt kinda guys. I shot 81 and got him by one as he shot 82. I need a breather and a few brews this afternoon

I could do 18 beers and break 120, I don’t know if I could choke down 18 dogs. yes. easily. I'm showing up on an empty stomach and downing 2 dogs as soon as I tee off. 120 isn't an issue. 1 beer per hole, kinda nursing it. The only problem for me will be feeling sick/bloated from the beer and if that kicks in then I won't be able to keep eating the dogs so I've got to drink fairly slow. 5 hours playing alone is an eternity so it's all about pace and eating/drinking slowly. Ideally I would walk with a push cart to help digest.

I'm pretty happy with Xander at #4 -- defending champ, playing well, performs well at Quail Hollow. But I could see you having two other guys here instead. In fact with 8 drafters and the LIV guys, the first round or two will feel pretty stacked.
