Nice dodge, Whataboutadour. MAGA refuses to accept truth:

• The rioters are not demonstrators, they are criminals and nobody (outside of beltway POS's like Trump) wants there to be violence. 
• Everyone supports arresting and charging those that commit assault, vandalism, or other common crimes associated with protests.
• By most accounts, LAPD had "isolated" riots under control, and the NG was likely not needed.
• Even if deploying NG is the right move, the governor should have done it, not POTUS. Assuming Newsom is as big of an ass as you think he is and didn't deploy just because he didn't want to be seen as in agreement with Trump, there is NO valid reason to push Marines into the mix. That is simply Trump being Trump and aggravating an already delicate situation.

Hmm. So ICE has been doing the same type of enforcement in Florida. No Marines.

What's the difference here? No marines dispatched in blood-red Florida; several hundred marines deployed in sky-blue California.

Much like the guy who started this thread, I’m pretty sure that Trump figured sending the National Guard and the Marines to Los Angeles would be a sure winner for him in the polls. I would have thought so as well, but it turns out that the public is smarter than I thought:
