Which Was Better Taxi Or Cheers ? I'm going with Taxi but love both and similar type shows

Taxi had the best character, Louie DePalma, but the second best character was Carla Tortelli of Cheers,  the real life wife of Louie. Also the hotter slut, Marilu Henner, was on Taxi. But the ensemble goes to Cheers.

What cast had the better careers once these shows ended? I’m giving it to Taxi because of Danny Devito and his work on Sunny, and I’m deducting massive points from Ted Danson for having sex with Whoopi. Yuck

Louie DePalma was easily the best character but you’re selling Christopher Lloyd and Andy Kaufman short

Carla Tortelli had one of the best scenes in TV history when she attacked the loud mouthed Yankees fan.

Loved them both and found Andy funny as heck when he played different personalities. Chris was just funny crazy as Jim!  Again would bust out laughing where Cheers I would chuckle a lot. Love both shows though!

No disrespect to you or the thread, but I always genuinely disliked Andy Kaufman. Not sure why ?

As well didn't like him at all but years later loved his genius.

Marilu Henner is the key to this question. She was the better actress and better female lead and more likable than both Shelley Long and Kristie Alley. The rest of the casts for both shows were great, though.  Slight edge to Taxi
