Perhaps one of you two can tell me your thoughts on Hamas in all this?  Also, can you provide an example of another country going out of their way to provide aid to their enemy like Israel is?

A question I had myself but I’ve now seen others more important than me raise as well:  has GHF explained why it seems the primary food they provide is ~20 lb bags of flour?  So the people will often need to carry it for miles to get home, and of course may need to find something to cook it with if their home was blown up or is now in a “restricted area.”

Seems like they’d be much more efficient giving out something like this: https://www.edesianutrition.org/global-foods/ (ironically they went somewhat viral at the beginning of DOGE because they received funding from USAID and the government delayed payment for product that was already produced and that they already had a contract for).

I don’t think they are “providing aid as some form of punishment.”   I’m sure you’ll claim this isn’t what you were doing but you seem to be suggesting that since Israel is providing aid, that makes it unlikely that they are also doing things like shooting at the people coming for aid, or deliberately killing journalists and medical personnel.

I don’t think “they’re doing it as punishment,” but I think they want to do as little as possible for the Palestinians while still being able to say “we’re providing aid, look how caring we are!”

Another report that was aired on an Israeli news station from a US contractor detailing shooting civilians, as well as throwing grenades at them and emptying an entire can of pepper spray on one person.   Also calls out how far away the sites are from most of the population.  

As far as the killings at the aid sites, maybe it is the American contractors that are worse than the IDF…
