Yeah, I'll send you a link. Rusty II took "Shark Dance" and the next four albums and threw them up on Spotify and Youtube, and that motivated me to finish my most recent album, which came out last year.

I gave him a bunch of cassette tapes to go through, and one of them was a recording of some mostly acoustical stuff I'd made for my dad. It's super low-fi, but I thought it was good enough to just throw out there with the rest of my stuff.

I've got three new ones and a bunch of bits, pieces and ideas for a new album but not quite ready to dig into that one.

I think my latest focking kicks ass.

Peefoam never met a thread he couldn't resist stinking up with his childish, unintellectual, repetitive drivel.

One thing we all agree on is that he's the boards all-time worst poster.

Good for you.  Keep having fun!  Best time you'll ever spend, especially if II is into music as well.

Yeah, I think you'll like the latest one, "Harvey."

The usual stupidity mixed with face-melting riffs.

The title track, which closes out the album, is my sonic interpretation of a hurricane coming and going.

Fair. I took it as it was really putting his music out there.

If only there was something else he was doing all day long that was unnecessary that might even free up more time.  Hmmm

I don't care if anyone listens to it. The stuff on Spotify gets more listens. I'm glad it's preserved so I don't lose any of it. I stopped recording for a bit after cats broke into my recording space and peed on my multitrack recorder, ruining it. Maybe they'd had enough.

As I said, I don't give a rat's ass how many followers there are or listens the songs get.

I think it's funny, actually.

James McMurtry's Facebook page says, "Steadily Shedding Fans Since 1989," and I love that. He doesn't pander to audiences and does whatever the fock he wants.

That was the whole spirit of "Shark Dance" in the first place, and my latest release of new material might be my best. After that, I gave my son a bunch of ancient cassette tapes to digitize, and one of them of mainly me and an acoustic guitar - made for my dad - sounded so stripped down and low-fi that I had my son throw that up there as well.

You should totally upload them where no one is going to listen to them.

You should take your wife out to dinner and a play and stop worrying about my music's lack of popularity.

🤣

Says the guy who spends his richy-rich retirement hanging out on a predominately male, low-rent, lightly trafficked message board.

But beat your chest and gnaw on a fried turkey leg if that makes you feel more secure about your sexuality.

🤣

Well, you're caring about people who care about how much they don't care.

Tip that, butter cup!

Actually, I auditioned for and got singing roles in two musicals over the summer and even had solos.

So your criticism seeds will find no purchase here, son.

😆 I worked with this one gay dude who was.a client at one of my projects. He was boasting to everyone how he got a singing part in a community musical.

He invited all of us. I didn't go. And hearing reviews from the coworkers that saw it, I'm glad "I couldn't make it".

So funny how they all felt the need to pretend that he was good. 😆
