Some here in this thread (like you) did not expect Democrats to be vocal in their oppostion to this become it was a "no lose" situation for Trump.

All we need to do is actually hold criminals accountable and not let them walk each time.  Actually imprison people and not turn a total blind eye to non violent crimes.  

But Libs love criminals and sympathize with them at every turn.  So wont happen anytime soon.

You vote for people who increasingly want to ignore crime.  Its pretty simple.  Perhaps that is your one area you dont agree with Libs but it doesnt matter enough not to submit the vote.  So you are right, perhaps many Libs dont "love crime".  But they are willing to vote for those who want to sympathize more and more with career criminals and embolden them.  

The next mayor of the biggest city in this country basically has said he wants to do away with misdemeanors.   

California the biggest state in this country has for years turned a blind eye to many crimes while parole boards in states like these go hilariously easy on criminals...repeat offenders.

1) I don't know much about mamdani but I've never seen him say he wants to eliminate misdemeanor crime.  Can you link me to that?

Also just because he won a primary in a city doesn't mean all "libs" support the guy.

2) Your stance that "libs" vote for people that are not tough on crime means they're not tough on crime is false.
